NEW GRADUATE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
We’re seeking a new graduate Occupational Therapist to join our close-knit team either part-time or full-time. The successful candidate will provide high quality therapy services aligned with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), aimed at improving the functional independence and quality of life for our clients. Training and support and 1-on-1 supervision will be provided to ensure your success in this role. Our experienced and friendly admin team will also ensure you have all the support you need learning and navigating the complexities of NDIS. You will work in a collaborative environment that values your contributions, fosters growth, and prioritises your well-being. You’ll deliver person-centred care tailored to the specific needs of individuals with a wide range of physical, mental, and developmental conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Conduct comprehensive assessments in line with NDIS guidelines to evaluate clients' abilities and challenges in daily living and work environments.
Develop and implement personalised, NDIS-compliant treatment plans in consultation with clients, families, and support teams.
Provide therapy to help clients improve, regain, or maintain skills needed for daily life, ensuring plans align with their NDIS goals.
Collaborate with other health professionals and NDIS plan managers to ensure holistic, client-focused care.
Monitor and document client progress in accordance with NDIS reporting requirements, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers about strategies for improving function and maintaining independence.
Advise on adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and home/workplace modifications to support client goals within their NDIS plans.
Stay updated on the latest practices, regulations, and NDIS guidelines in occupational therapy.

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current (or pending) registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable transport (if home visits are required) and a willingness to work in community settings.
Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
